After an excellent but hectic weekend in the city I was in need of little photo adventure. So today I decided to stop when I see something I normally wouldn’t stop for.

Out Of Business

I stopped a total of three times and got 5 images I really like. One stop was at this old shell of a house/business. I liked the old sign holder on the pole. I took a couple HDR shots of the inside. As you can see, there isn’t anything there.

I left at the start of a storm and about 10min into my trip home I drove out of it into some clearer skies. Made for an excellent sky for sunsets. The way the snow was in this field was too good to pass up.

Lastly, I had to stop when I approached these three silos with the sunset behind them. Thankfully I was able to take this photo as my camera was already flashing the red battery symbol when taking the field sunset.

New House Revisited

Right now is prime hunting season. All you see are trucks and people wearing orange driving them. You gotta choose wisely if you want to go out ’shooting’ with a camera. Even where I went last night, farmer’s field in town limits you see lots of hunters. Even had the owner of the land come up to me thinking I was a hunter. Once he realized why I was there it was all good. I decided to revisit a site I was at in early spring. Summer was no good as the grass gets too high. Thankfully the sky was good and provided some nice cloud action for a sunset shoot.

Sky Of Fire

On the way home from the cow pasture (see below) I passed by this sight. The ‘mist’ is actually dust from the gravel roads. There was next to no wind and the dust just slowly drifted off into the fields. Made for a good reason to stop and take a couple photos.
