Had a great weekend out at Falcon Lake. Unfortunately, I didn’t get time to get some landscape shots but the weather was too nice to pass up some time in the sun. I was able to capture a lovely shot of my girlfriend. LOL Had some fun with the wide angle lens and Seven. Her head looks way too big for her body. There is this really interesting looking sauna at the cottage. I took an HDR and made it into BW. While we were there a bird flew into the window. It was stunned and I grabbed a dew shots before it flew away. On the way home I drove through some pretty nasty rain. Didn’t leave too many opportunities to stop and take pics.

Mystery Shed

Today I came across this cool looking shed. Looks like a storage shed. The location made for a great place to take some sunset shots. The Quarry

A couple months ago I found this rock quarry. I didn’t go in as there was another car there and people around. I stopped just down from the quarry and shortly after heard gun shots. So I left. Well, today I decided to revisit the quarry and this time no one was there. Unfortunately it was really windy so a lot of the HDR shots I took didn’t really turn out. I will have to go back on a calmer night. I was lucky, I almost fell in the water with my camera and camera bag. That wouldn’t have been good.

The Wall

After visiting a friends place and getting ready to leave. We walked around back and I came across the window to his garage. I knew I had to take a pic so I unpacked and set up. Here is the result.
