Had a great weekend out at Falcon Lake. Unfortunately, I didn’t get time to get some landscape shots but the weather was too nice to pass up some time in the sun. I was able to capture a lovely shot of my girlfriend. LOL Had some fun with the wide angle lens and Seven. Her head looks way too big for her body. There is this really interesting looking sauna at the cottage. I took an HDR and made it into BW. While we were there a bird flew into the window. It was stunned and I grabbed a dew shots before it flew away. On the way home I drove through some pretty nasty rain. Didn’t leave too many opportunities to stop and take pics.
Archive for the “August Photos” CategoryToday I came across this cool looking shed. Looks like a storage shed. The location made for a great place to take some sunset shots. On the way to this spot I passed what must have been at least 100 Sandhill Cranes in the field. Unfortunately they weren’t photogenic. When I got the shed, there were some feathered friends hanging out in the field. A couple of Sandhill Cranes kept me entertained the whole time I was there with their music. I also had the shed keeper keeping a close eye on me!
I had this idea to make a panorama but tilted at a weird angle. I was waiting for the right weather conditions and today was the day. This is an HDR panorama made from 24 images. Must be viewed at large size (4860 x 888). Original size is 13821 x 2317 (cropped). Comments welcome! |
