St. Labre Sunset

Last night I decided to head out for a quick sunset. This is a about a 10min drive from my house. The road to get there is horribly muddy and I thought I was going to get stuck a few times. Good thing I was driving fast enough. The last shot (culvert) is a perfect example of why you should always take a 360° look when out shooting. You never know what you may miss.

  1. [...] Right where my house is you can’t see the horizon as I am surrounded by trees. If I walk to the road you can kind of see the horizon but only a small sliver. To really know, I have to get in the car and drive. I was talking to my Mom earlier last night and she can see the to the west very well. I asked her how it was looking. Based on her description, I made my decision to head out. Had she NOT told me, I wouldn’t have. Very happy I did. I stopped by a great spot I was at a couple of weeks ago.
