I am sitting at my PC this morning and all of a sudden this owl crashes into one of my windows. It fell on to my deck. So I quickly get out my camera and head out. Not to often you can get with in 2 feet of these guys. I only got about 3 shots before this guy took off. Then the group of birds chased him away. Unfortunately, he left the mouse that he had caught behind.
This is one of about a half dozen or so birds that were chasing and taunting the owl. They made one heck of a racket too. While I was taking the photos of the owl they were literally 3 feet behind me on the branches. Watching my every move.

I was walking by the front window this morning and noticed the light down the street. Luckily I had my camera with. Turns out the sun rises in line with Main Street. This is the first time I noticed this. Now, my camera will be with me everyday. I hope to catch an early sunrise soon.

After an excellent but hectic weekend in the city I was in need of little photo adventure. So today I decided to stop when I see something I normally wouldn’t stop for.

I stopped a total of three times and got 5 images I really like. One stop was at this old shell of a house/business. I liked the old sign holder on the pole. I took a couple HDR shots of the inside. As you can see, there isn’t anything there.
I left at the start of a storm and about 10min into my trip home I drove out of it into some clearer skies. Made for an excellent sky for sunsets. The way the snow was in this field was too good to pass up.

Lastly, I had to stop when I approached these three silos with the sunset behind them. Thankfully I was able to take this photo as my camera was already flashing the red battery symbol when taking the field sunset.
