Today I stopped by this old dilapidated bridge that I have only passed by at LEAST 1000 times. Unfortunately it was little too windy and most of my HDR shots did not turn out due to plant movement. I plan to come back here this week and get the shots I want. Preferably at sunset. For now, enjoy the 2 shots I am happy enough to share. Comments welcome!
Archive for September, 2008Tonight I decided to revisit the place I took a few panoramas last week. I arrived too early for sunsets so I explored some trails nearby. Found some nice green moss and killed some time there. On the way back I had this idea for a shot inside my car. After a few attempts I got what I wanted. I am glad I decided to revisit this spot. I think this is my best panoramic yet. On the drive home I had to stop and catch the sunset. Comments welcome! For the tail end of our summer vacation and the weekend after we headed out to Hecla Island, MB to meet up with friends. This was my first time there and it is very beautiful. My biggest goal was to get some good sunset shots. I spent a few evenings down at the rocky shore and took shots. There are also many great trails around the island and lots to see and do. A group of us went on, what we thought was a short, hike. It turned out to be the long 12km hike. Needless to say, our feet were pretty sore and we were glad to get back to the campsite. One evening while taking sunset photos, a green caterpillar landed on me and hit the ground. I think they wanted me to leave! Comments welcome! |
