For the tail end of our summer vacation and the weekend after we headed out to Hecla Island, MB to meet up with friends. This was my first time there and it is very beautiful. My biggest goal was to get some good sunset shots. I spent a few evenings down at the rocky shore and took shots. There are also many great trails around the island and lots to see and do. A group of us went on, what we thought was a short, hike. It turned out to be the long 12km hike. Needless to say, our feet were pretty sore and we were glad to get back to the campsite. One evening while taking sunset photos, a green caterpillar landed on me and hit the ground. I think they wanted me to leave!
